In a horrifying incident, a middle-aged man has been arrested after clicking obscene pictures of his minor step-daughter. The pictures were allegedly found in a folder on the man’s laptop.
The incident that happened in Telangana has been reported from Hyderabad’s Nacharam neighbourhood where a 45-year-old man allegedly captured objectionable pictures of the daughter of the woman he married a few years ago after the death of his first wife. The victim apparently got suspicious when she noticed the man making “surreptitious moves” at her. The girl then looked through his laptop and found a folder that contained nude pictures of her. She immediately informed her mother about it, and the two of them went to the Nacharam Police Station and lodged a complaint against the man.
The police registered an FIR against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and sent him for a medical examination where he tested positive for Covid-19. He was placed under home quarantine for 14 days, following which he was arrested on Wednesday and remanded in judicial custody.
