Telangana: 12 succumb to Covid-19 in 24 hours & other details

The latest Covid-19 bulletin from the Telangana government puts the cumulative confirmed cases tally at 58,906. As many as 1,764 cases were logged in the last 24 hours (as of July 28, 8 PM).
The number of recovered cases stands at 43,751 (with 842 in the past 24 hours). The number of deaths has been put at 492, with 12 dying in the 24-hour period.
Case fatality rate is 2.26%, and the recovery rate is seemingly improving. The cumulative recovery rate stands at 64%.
The total number of active cases now stands at 14,663. About 84% of the cases are asymptomatic and are under home isolation.
