Early on Saturday, BJP Telangana President and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao performs black magic and that he was advised by a Tantrik to change the name of TRS to BRS.
And, hours later, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman joined the issue and made another allegation. She said that there is no woman in the KCR cabinet because the Tantrik had warned him that the inclusion of a woman will bring misfortune upon him.
She also said that the new name of TRS sheds the Telugu identity since ‘Rashtra’ is not a Telugu word but a Sanksrit one. “KCR even built a new Secretariat because some Pandit had advised him to build a new building to stave off bad luck. TRS has failed Telangana and it now wants to go national,” Sitharaman said, adding that KCR has also squandered away the people’s mandate.
In summation, the BJP leader accused KCR of being unscientific.
