Taapsee Pannu receives a ridiculously high electricity bill

At a time when several customers across the country are getting exorbitant electricity bills, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has joined the list of those receiving unrealistically high bills.  Taking to Twitter, the ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ actress said that she has received an obscene bill for a house that hasn’t been used at all.

Taapsee posted the photos of the bill and tweeted, “Three months of lockdown and I wonder what appliance(s) I have newly used or bought in the apartment only last month to have such an insane rise in my electricity bill. @Adani_Elec_Mum what kind of POWER r u charging us for?”.

In her next tweet, Taapsee added, “And this one is for an apartment where no one stays n it’s only visited once in a week for cleaning purpose @Adani_Elec_MumI am now worried if someone is actually using the apartment without our knowledge and you have helped us uncover the reality.”

Now that some celebs are taking up the issue, will there be a way out?
