‘Swathi Muthyam’: This Dasara release is coming amid positive vibes!

‘Swathi Muthyam’ seems to be one of the brightest content-driven films of the year. The multi-genre movie, whose ‘teaser trailer’ was released recently, is going to be a Dasara release.

The most interesting aspect of the release timing is that the family entertainer and rom-com is going to compete with Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’ and Nagarjuna’s ‘The Ghost’ in the first week of October. Sithara Entertainments, whose solid run has been continuing this year, is looking at scoring a big hit when the film releases on October 5.

It’s learned that the film’s trailer, due to be released later this month, is spot-on. After the impressive glimpse videos and other pre-release promotional material, the trailer is going to further fortify Swathi Muthyam’s potential.

Conventionally speaking, releasing a debutant hero’s movie amid the big-ticket movies is not an easy decision. Bellamkonda Ganesh, the new actor, is surely bracing up for intense competition. But the producer believes in the power of content cinema and also wants to cash in on the Dasara holiday season. Telangana has declared holidays for educational institutions from September 26 to October 9.

Everything so far suggests that the makers are confident of pulling off a memorable festival hit.

The film has VK Naresh, Surekha Vani, together with Rao Ramesh and Pragathi, in key roles. ‘Nee Chaaredu Kalle’ and ‘Dum Dum Dum’ are the two songs that have been released. Mahathi Swara Sagar is the film’s music director.
