Surya Devi tests positive for COVID 19

Surya Devi an unknown name a few weeks back is now very much in the news due to her fierce criticisms on actress Vanitha Vijayakumar’s marriage to Peter Paul.  A couple of days back she was arrested by the Vadapalani police for inquiry on her abusive language and death threats that she made on YouTube against Vanitha.

It has now been revealed that Surya Devi has tested positive for coronavirus and police inspector Renuka who interrogated her has also become a patient now.  Vanitha Vijayakumar has claimed that Surya is gone in to hiding and has posted on Twitter “Suriya devi missing police and health department searching for her…she isn’t picking calls…she tested covid positive and they are worried about spreading and she is hiding. Irresponsible to the core..god”

Netizens are sharing on the net hoping that Surya Devi’s two small children should be safe now.  Surya has since posted a video in which she vaguely denied having been infected and said its a conspiracy by the media against her.  She then later said that even if she and her two children along with a friend and her family in whose house she is staying get infected they know how to quarantine themselves and fight the virus.
