Suriya teams up with maverick

Suriya's 36th film is going to be in the direction of Selvaraghavan of '7/G Brindavan Colony' fame.  The untitled movie will go on the floors in either January or February next.

The film is slated to be a grand Diwali release.  There is a speculation in Tamil media circles that it will lock horns with Ajith's 58th film and Vijay's 62nd one.

"So looking forward to working with one of the finest directors in our industry..!!" Suriya has tweeted.  The film was announced last year but the pre-production works took longer than usual.  At that time, Regina Cassandra's name was heard as the heroine.  It's now being said that Rakul Preet Singh might team up with Suriya.

Selva recently described himself as a little fanboy of Suriya, whose next, 'Thaanaa Serndha Koottam', is a grand Pongal release.
