Siruthai Siva opts for a different combo for Suriya project?

Suriya has given a roaring celebration to fans appearing as Rolex Sir in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.  Apart from the perfomances of the ensemble cast that includes Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil and Anirudh’s gen nxt music it was Suriya who is the major highlight.  The film is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar even as it continues its phenomenal theatrical run into its sixth week.

Suriya’s nex film ‘Suriya 42’ directed by Bala will resume a fresh schedule soon and will be wrapped in by mid August.  The power packed performer will then move on to a new biggie directed by Siruthai Siva.

We already broke the news first to you that UV Creations is bankrolling the project and that Pooja Hegde is in advaned stages of talks ot star as the female lead.  Now we have another hot update that Devi Sri Prasad is in the favored music composer to get on board the sensational project.  In recent times Siva has worked with Anirudh in two films ‘Vedalam’ and ‘Vivegam’ and the same number with D. Imman ‘Viswasam’ and ‘Annaathe’ and is reportedly planning for a different combo this time.

Siruthai Siva and DSP have already worked in ‘Veeram’ and at a recent event the director hinted that he is floored by the composer’s ‘Pushpa’ score and promised to work with him again.  On the other hand DSP has given super hit songs for Suriya in ‘Maayavi’, ‘Aaru’, ‘Singam’ and ‘Singam 2’.  The official word on all these hot updates are expected to come soon.
