Suriya's ambitious project '24' has completed 24 days of a successful run in the box office and today the Vikram Kumar directorial is stepping into the 25th day which is definitely a landmark achievement in terms of the current trends of Kollywood box office.

The sci-fi time travel flick is still being retained in many theaters even after the new Tamil releases every week. The film has turned out to be profitable to all parties concerned and has recently joined the producer Rs.100 crore club.

The success of the film can be attributed to Vikram Kumar's novel script, Suriya's performance in three different roles, especially the menacing Atthreya which is his first negative character, A.R. Rahman's pulsating background scores and Tirru's fantastic camera work.

We can also expect that '24' success will open up the market for more number of Tamil film based on the Time travel concept and also other experimental ventures.

Samantha and Nithya Menen had played impressive female lead roles in the film, which has been produced by Suriya under his 2D Entertainments banner.
