Suriya Recovering After Minor Injury on Set of ‘Suriya 44’

Tamil star Suriya Sivakumar, currently filming his upcoming action-packed gangster film “Suriya 44,” sustained a minor head injury while performing a stunt scene in Ooty. The incident led to a temporary halt in production, but thankfully, Suriya is recovering well.

Producer Rajsekhar Pandian reassured fans on social media, stating that Suriya is “perfectly fine” and receiving rest after being treated at a local hospital. The filming has been put on hold until Suriya is fully recovered.

Fans were delighted to see Suriya’s energetic and menacing gangster avatar in the recently released teaser of “Suriya 44,” which dropped on his 49th birthday. The clip, with its powerful visuals and intriguing tagline, “A love, a laughter, a war… awaits the one,” has further heightened anticipation for the film.

“Suriya 44,” marks the actor’s 44th lead role and features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film also boasts a talented supporting cast including Jayaram, Karunakaran, and Joju George. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while editing is handled by Shafique Mohamed Ali and production design by Jacki. Produced by 2D Entertainment, Suriya’s own production company, the film promises a thrilling ride with its “Love, Laughter, and War” tagline.
