Suriya made a huge impact amongst pan Indian audiences with his recent film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by Sudha Kongara which was a loosely adapted biopic of aviation legend G.R. Gopinath. Now the news doing the rounds in Kollywood is that the hardworking star has signed a new biopic.
The achiever on whose life the new biopic is based on, the director and the producer of the project are kept under wraps as of now. It is also not clear when Suriya will allot dates as he is committed to start shooting his next film directed by Siruthai Siva by the year end. In mid 2022 the much awaited ‘Vaadivasal’ directed by Vetrimaaran is also expected to go on floors. There is also a film with Bala in the pipeline.
Meanwhile Suriya’s ‘Jai Bhim’ directed by T.G. Gnanavel is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on November 2nd ahead of the Diwali festivities. His ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures is also nearing completion.
