Suriya one of the topmost heroes of Tamil cinema has a pan Indian fan base and has already acted in Ram Gopal Varma's Hindi/Telugu/Tamil bilingual 'Raktha Charitra 2'. He will soon be making a cameo appearance in the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Akshay Kumar.

Now the big news is that Suriya is going to make a proper re-entry in Bollywood after thirteen years in high budget Hindi film. It has been reported that ace Hindi director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is holding advanced talks with Suriya to play the main lead in his upcoming magnum opus 'Karna' based on the Mahabharata. If all goes well the mega project planned at a budget of over rupees five hundred crores will go on floors in 2024.

Surya is currently acting in the upcoming film 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva which is also a big budget historical adventure film. The award winning superstar also has a film with Sudha Kongara and Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal' in the pipeline.
