Suriya the most hardworking and intense star actor in South Indian cinema is celebrating his 44th birthday today and wishes are pouring in from celebrities and fans alike.  A surprise wish has come from Mafoi Pandiarajan the minister for Tamil official culture and archaeology.

Pandiarajan has posted to Suriya, "Many happy returns of the day! May Almighty shower Her choicest blessings on you! May the spirit of seeing the unseen & articulating the unarticulated propel you to glory in the year ahead!"

Suriya and the ruling ADMK government haven't seen eye to eye on the proposed new education policy of the center which the actor opposed and ministers such as Kadambur Raju slammed him for his views.  It is very interesting that Pandiarjan has come out with such an explicit birthday wish almost endorsing Suriya's views.  We will have to wait what the higher-ups think about that in the coming days.
