Karthik Subbaraj’s shooting plans for ‘Suriya 44’ go viral: Date and place revealed!

Suriya astounded Tamil cinema with the surprise announcement of ‘Suriya 44’ last month, the magnum opus project in which he is collaborating with director Karthik Subbaraj for the first time. Recently, it was reported that Malayalam actor Joju George will be a part of this film produced by 2D Entertainment and Stone Bench Films.

As per the latest update, the shooting of ‘Suriya 44’ is being planned to commence on June first week (most probably June 2). The first schedule is likely to take place in the Andaman Islands for 40 days. The team has planned further filming in Ooty and other locations. An official update is awaited in this regard. This buzz is doing rounds on the internet now.

Santhosh Narayanan is said to compose the music for this movie while DOP Thirunavukkarasu handles the cinematography. ‘Suriya 44’ is touted to be a period romantic action drama. On the work front, ‘Kanguva’ is gearing up for a grand release this year. The actor also has ‘Purananooru’ with director Sudha Kongara and a biggie with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
