Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj have joined forces for the highly anticipated project tentatively titled ‘Suriya 44’. Backed by 2D Entertainment, the film is set to begin shooting in the first week of June in the Andaman Islands. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music for this movie.

Exciting news arrived today that popular actor-director ‘Uriyadi’ Vijay Kumar is joining the star cast of “Suriya 44” to portray a powerful villain opposite Suriya. It is worth mentioning that Vijay Kumar acted in “Uriyadi 2” under 2D Entertainment and co-wrote dialogues for Suriya’s National Award-winning film, “Soorarai Pottru.”
