Today marks the 49th birthday of Suriya, and fans received a thrilling surprise from Karthik Subbaraj, the director of 'Suriya 44.' Last night, as promised, Subbaraj revealed a teaser of the highly anticipated movie, instantly captivating the internet. The 1.5-minute glimpse showcases Suriya in a powerful new avatar as a formidable don.

The teaser opens with Suriya stylishly emerging from an old building, his face marked with blood stains and a cigarette hanging from his lips. He then receives a pistol from his men and dramatically points it at the camera, transitioning into a striking animation sequence. The experience is elevated by Santhosh Narayanan's compelling background score and Shreyaas Krishna's stunning visuals.

'Suriya 44' boasts a star-studded cast including Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Sujith Shankar, Thamizh, Ramachandran Durairaj, Prem Kumar, Sandeep Raj, and Remya Suresh. Produced by 2D Entertainment, the film recently wrapped up its first schedule in the Andaman Islands. The next phase of shooting is slated to begin soon in either Ooty or Kerala.
