Superstar to rope in Sharwanand for next production venture

As per the latest buzz, actor Mahesh Babu is keen on roping in Jaanu actor Sharwanand for his upcoming production venture. Reports claim that Superstar of Tollywood has recently listened to narration of a script, and believes that Sharwanand could be the perfect choice for the role of the protagonist. If the news is true and everything falls in place, an official announcement can be expected in a few weeks of time.

Mahesh has earlier said that he will keep producing films which have good stories to tell. Also, he said he will be co-producing all those films which he thinks he should be part of.

Currently, Mahesh is bankrolling Major in association with Sony Pictures Productions. This film has Adivi Sesh in the lead role and is inspired by the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG Commando, who lost his life in the tragic 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Directed by ‘Goodachari’ fame Sashi Kiran Tikka, the pre-production works of the Telugu-Hindi bilingual have already been wrapped up and the shooting is expected to kick-off once things get back into normalcy. The first look of the film has been revealed some time back and the release is yet to be announced.
