Jayam Ravi says that Superstar Rajinikanth gave a new meaning to his cinema career!

The magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan Part 1’ hit the big screens across the globe last week, and the film is making a monstrous collection at the box office. It is ace director Mani Ratnam’s most ambitious project and Tamil cinema’s biggest multistarrer movie. 

The movie is acclaimed by the critics and general audience alike. Fans admire ‘PS1’ for its magnificent craft and immersive storytelling. Though Chiyaan Vikram, Jayaram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Trisha have delivered brilliant acting performances, Jayam Ravi’s character as Ponniyin Selvan aka Arunmozhivarman is the soul of the film.

I’m overwhelmed, humbled & blessed to know you loved the movie & my performance @rajinikanth sir” (sic). 

The actor stated that Superstar Rajinikanth’s acknowledgment has given a new meaning to his cinema career. He gave life to the Chola Prince Raja Rajan, who is known for his moral and righteousness. ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ took control over the box office and the film has surpassed Rs 250 crores worldwide in four days.
