Rajini vs Vijay Sethupathi begins

The shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie after the critically acclaimed ‘Kaala’ was extensively shot for more than a month in Dehradun and Darjeeling which were used to duplicate the original setting of the film which is in Ooty.  The next schedule of this exciting project directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures is currently happening in Chennai.

Important scenes of ‘Thalaivar 165’ is being shot on sets erected at the Binny Mills property located at Meenambakkam, Chennai.  The hot news here is that Vijay Sethupathi who is playing the main villain is also participating and you can just imagine how the atmosphere would be with his interactions on and off screen with the Thalaivar.

The film has an ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddique, Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy and Vijay Sethupathi.  Music is by Anirudh who is scoring for the first time for a Rajini film who is incidently his uncle.
