Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, “Vettaiyan”, is officially set to hit theatres on October 10th. Despite this announcement, there had been uncertainty about the release date, fueled by rumours that some patchwork for the film was still incomplete. These reports turned out to be true.

But the creators have now wrapped up the entire shoot, including the patchwork, after 148 days of filming. A crew member shared this news on social media, which quickly went viral. Following this update, Lyca Productions, the film’s producer, reconfirmed the release date by updating their cover photos on Facebook and Twitter (now known as X) with the “Vettaiyan” release date poster.

Meanwhile, Suriya’s “Kanguva” was initially scheduled to clash with “Vettaiyan” at the box office. However, reports suggest that “Kanguva” might be delayed due to ongoing VFX work, potentially avoiding the box office showdown. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official update from Studio Green, the production house behind “Kanguva”.
