Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan to play a cameo in Dhanush’s next film?

Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja is a musical legend in Indian cinema. The composer has scored music for more than 1500 films and is regarded as one of the best musicians in the world. Reports broke out recently that a biopic drama is set to be made on him with Dhanush playing Ilaiyaraaja.

It was said that Bollywood director Balki will be directing this film. But according to sources, the directorial duties will be handled by Arun Matehswaran, who recently delivered the highly acclaimed ‘Captain Miller’ with Dhanush. The initial works for the movie have reportedly begun. Isai Puyal AR Rahman might score music for this much-awaited project.

Also, we hear that Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan may appear in cameos in this biopic. Both are great friends with Raja and have worked with him on many classic hits. Ilaiyaraaja’s son Yuvan is also expected to appear in the film. However, we have to take this buzz with a pinch of salt until the film is official.
