Superstar Rajinikanth, who had earlier stated that he would launch his political party ahead of the 2021 elections, might be ready to announce the same tomorrow (Thursday), according to reports.
After meeting with the district secretaries of his Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) six days ago, Rajinikanth is reportedly set to hold another meeting with them Thursday morning at a marriage hall in Chennai, where he is likely to announce the launch of his political party and details regarding the same. Following the meeting with RMM that happened nearly a week ago, Rajini mentioned that he was disappointed about one thing in particular and would discuss the same during appropriate time.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have expressed their willingness to work together several times in the past and it is yet to be known whether the two actor-turned-politicians will meet the shortfall left by former chief ministers of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa and M Karunanidhi, of AIADMK and DMK, respectively.
