Superstar Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj to reunite after 38 years for this mega action film?

As we all know, Superstar Rajinikanth has been ruling Tamil cinema since the 70s. He was a leading star when veteran actor Sathyaraj was still playing villain roles. The two have acted in several films like ‘Thambikku Endha Ooru’, ‘Moondru Mugam’, ‘Paayum Puli’, ‘Naan Sigappu Manidhan’ and ‘Mr. Bharath’.

Exciting news has emerged that Superstar Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj are finally reuniting for a mega-action film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj roped in Sathyaraj to play an important role in ‘Thalaiavr 171’, reportedly. Thalaivar and Sathyaraj are going to share the screen after 38 years. We already informed you that Shruti Haasan is also playing a vital role in this film.

It is worth mentioning that Shankar tried to cast Sathyaraj as the villain in ‘Sivaji: The Boss’ but it didn’t happen. Meanwhile, the shooting for the title teaser of ‘Thalaiavr 171’ took place recently. It will be released on April 22nd. The movie produced by Sun Pictures is expected to commence regular shooting by May or June.
