Superstar Rajinikanth heaps praise on Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai 1’ – Team elated

Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vidutalai’ starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi released on March 31st to positive reviews from fans and critics and is running successfully in theatres worldwide.  The authentic depiction of police brutality on oppressed people and a branded terrorist who emerges as their champion have touched the audeinces.

Superstar Rajinikanth, on Saturday saw ‘Viduthalai 1’ at a special screening and lauded Vetrimaaran and his team.  He wrote on Twitter “Tamil cinema has never witnessed such a story backdrop.  This is an epic cinema.  Soori is acting is riveting, Ilayaraja as always is the king of music and Vetrimaaran is the pride of Tamil cinema.  I congratulate the producer and am eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Viduthalai 2’.”

An elated Soori has responded sharing pics with the legend ” The praise from Thalaivar Superstar Rajinikanth is the peak of all the praises I received so far.  My life has reached a perfection point after the legend who inspired me to come into the film industry lauding our effort and our creation.  Thank God”

‘Viduthalai 1’ produced by Elred Kumar has in the cast Bhavani Sre, Chethan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajeev Menon, Balaji Shakthivel and Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar.  The sequel ‘Viduthalai 2’ is expected to release a few months later after a pending schedule of shooting.
