Superstar Rajinikanth attends grandson’s important function – Pics go viral

Superstar Rajinikanth recently proved once again that he is the emperor of the box office by powering his latest movie ‘Jailer’ to the all time number one position in Tamil cinema.  The film directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures with music by Anirudh has grossed over rupees six hundred crores worldwide.

Meanwhile Rajini who has been traveling a lot in the past few weeks flew to Coimbatore to participate in an important family function.  His grandson Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi the son of his younger daughter Soundarya had his head shaving and ear piercing ceremony.   The event was held at the ancestral deity temple of Soundarya’s husband Vishagan Vanangamudi at his native town Sulur in Coimbatore.

Soundarya also has another son Ved from a previous marriage who was also present cheering his younger brother.  Rajini after taking part in the function also attended a party held at a star hotel. Photos of this are going viral on the internet.  As usual he was mobbed by fans everywhere he stepped out in the textile city.

Rajini’s next movie ‘Lal Salaam’ directed by his elder daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth will be releasing by the end of this year.  He will soon begin shooting ‘Thalaivar 170’ directed by T.J. Gnanavel which will be wrapped up by January next year.  In the first quarter of 2024 Rajini will be joining hands with Lokesh Kanagaraj for the biggie ‘Thalaivar 171’ produced by Sun Pictures for which Anirudh is scoring the music and Anbariv handling the stunts.
