Superstar Rajinikanth is on a break after completing the first schedule of his new movie 'Thalaivar 168' directed by Siruthai Siva. He flew to Mysore on Monday after a two and half hour delay due to technical snag that the pilot luckily detected during takeoff and returned to home base.
It was said that Rajinikanth was attending a government function but it is now reported that he is shooting for a documentary in Bandipur, Karnataka. Environmentalists have objected to the government giving permission to shoot in the sensitive tiger reserve. The crew are set to shoot for two days at the 100 year old Iron Bridge bordering Kalkare and Moolehole at the Kerala border.
Nature activist Prashanth has revealed that documentary producers had sought permission in North India but it was denied and the Karnataka government has obliged. Rajini's involvement has been kept a secret mentioned as "Special Guest". The activists insist that film shootings disturb wildlife and destroy plants and should not be allowed under any circumstances.
