OMG! Akshay Kumar to destroy major Indian landmarks in ‘2.0’

The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar is making his Tamil debut playing the chief antagonist opposite Superstar Rajinikanth' in '2.0' directed by Shankar . Currently Rajinikanth, is holidaying in the US and the shooting of '2.0' is going on in a full swing. ‘2.0' features Amy Jackson as the love interest of and is produced by Lyca Productions.

Sources say that, art director T. Muthuraj has erected a massive set in EVP Film City in Chennai to shoot some important scenes between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, especially the fight sequences. The cast and crew is shooting at various places across Chennai and Akshay is shooting in disguise to avoid public hassle. An inside source also revealed that the team were to shoot an important sequence in New Delhi, they tried the best to get permission but failed so the makers have decided to shoot the sequence using green screen sound stage. This special scene would feature Akshay Kumar and Sudhanshu Pandey demolishing the Red Fort and Parliament house. And the man behind the screen, Srinivas Mohan, who is the VFX designer will digitally convert green screen sequence with the original images of the buildings that will make it look real.
