Superstar Krishna, Mahesh Babu mourn

In a condolence message, Superstar Krishna has recalled his association with the departed leader.  He further said, "After she did 'Goodachari 116' opposite me, Jayalalithaa acquired mass image.  She didn't turn back after that.  She did 'Niluvu Dopidi', which had a 100-days run, opposite me.  Likewise, 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' was a big hit.  Getting into politics, she became a member of Rajya Sabha.  She lead her party to a never-seen-before majority.  Defying the trend, she drove her party to victory for two continuous terms.  She will have a permanent place in the hearts of her people."

"Despite she being a woman, she stood steadfast in the face of opposition, giving able governance.  She strove to wipe out the tears of the poor by ensuring them with all essential provisions.  Ever since she passed away, her fans have been wailing, and four of them have died of cardiac arrest," Vijaya Nirmala has said.

Mahesh Babu said, "Deeply saddened at the loss of J Jayalalithaa garu. May her family and the whole of Tamil Nadu find strength at  this time..
