Sun Pictures has been building anticipation for "Coolie," starring Superstar Rajinikanth, by steadily unveiling details about the film's star-studded cast and their characters. Today, they broke the internet by revealing Rajinikanth's character in the movie. Thalaivar will be playing a character named Deva, and the announcement was accompanied by a stylish and striking poster that has quickly gone viral.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Nagarjuna as Simon, Upendra as Kaleesha, Soubin Shahir as Dayal, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, and Shruti Haasan as Preethi. The second shooting schedule is currently underway in Visakhapatnam, with the film's release targeted for Summer 2025. Directed and written by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Coolie" is an action-packed saga.

However, Kanagaraj has clarified that the film is not connected to his established cinematic universe. The music for "Coolie" is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Girish Gangadharan handling the cinematography, Philomin Raj on editing, Sathees Kumar managing art direction, and action sequences choreographed by the duo Anbariv.
