Steven Spielberg’s spectacular ‘Ready Player One’ trailer is here

Steven Spielberg has the uncanny ability to alternate between pure fantasy grand spectacles and human drama.  His next ‘Ready Player One’ is touted as his return to blockbuster filmmaking by those who have already seen it while we common folk have to wait till March 29th for the release.

‘Ready Player One’ is set in the future where the world is in chaos and a gaming company OASIS creates a virtual reality world where anybody can become anybody and go wherever they please and do whatever they want to. When the creator James Halliday ( Mark Rylance) dies he leaves behind clues to any player who can unlock secrets and become the new owner.  A youngster Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) assuming the avatar Parzival works his way through the maze winning and an evil corporate head is after him and his friends to take over the vast fortunes.
