Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan has startled the masses once again by stating that late scientist Stephen Hawking admitted to Vedas have a theory superior to Einstein’s theory of relativity (e=mc²). Vardhan was speaking at the 105th Indian Science Congress in Imphal.

When the minister was asked to disclose the source of his claim, he reiterated that Stephen Hawking said Vedas have a better theory than the one given by Einstein. Harsh Vardhan also said that he’ll provide the proofs if reporters failed to find the proof themselves. “You find the source. He had on record said that there is a possibility that Vedas have a better formula than the one given by Einstein. You also work a bit on this,” he stated.

While Einstein’s Theory of Relativity is a crucial scientific idea for modern physics, several such statements by the Indian Science Congress made previously had also not failed to irk the scientific community.
