SSMB28: Producer opens up on Mahesh Babu’s movie

The 28th movie of Mahesh Babu will go on the floors in November. Naga Vamsi Suryadevara, who takes care of affairs at Haarika & Hassine Creations, gave the update while appearing on Twitter Spaces held on Monday evening to celebrate the superstar’s birthday.

When asked about the project, Naga Vamsi said that the film was planned more than four years ago. “It took time for things to fall into place,” he added.

Saying that the film is an action entertainer, he added that it has got a pan-India appeal. 

Mahesh has worked with director Trivikram Srinivas on ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’ in the past. “They both were cult movies. SSMB28 has to go beyond them,” the producer added.

With music by Thaman, the film will have cinematography by R Madhie. Pooja Hegde is the female lead. 

Mahesh’s next is ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, which is a Parasuram Petla directorial. It will hit the screens on 13 January 2022.
