Actor joins Vijay 60, after 'Friends' and 'Pokkiri'

Right from the word go Ilayathalapthy Vijay's 60th film to be directed by Bharathan has generated a tremendous buzz among movie buffs and even as the star is yet to complete his 59th film 'Theri' directed by Atlee, every bit of information about his next film has been hitting the headlines.
The heroine of this most expected project is yet to be finalized while Sathish of 'Kaththi' fame has been included as an important supporting cast member. Now another notable actor joined the cast of 'Vijay 60'. We are referring to none other than actor Sriman who has played Vijay's close friend in the 2006 blockbuster 'Pokkiri' and the menacing villain in the 2001 blockbuster 'Friends'.
Sriman has confirmed the news in his official Twitter page.
It is worth noting that the actor has earned a good name for his performance in negative roles,. hero's friend characters and also comedy based characters and he is the one who has acted with many leading stars like Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth, Ajith and Vijay. His will definitely be a powerful addition to the 'Vijay 60' cast.
'Vijay 60' will be produced by Vijaya Productions. Santhosh Narayanan the music director of the film has already started the musical score. Madhie is the cameraman while Praveen K.L. has been roped in for Editing.
The shooting of the film is expected to commence latest by summer 2016.
