Of late, social media has turned deplorable. In their videos, they kill living celebs or claim diseases in case of healthy ones. Some of the false videos on social media have hurt the sensibilities of celebs in recent times.
Senior hero Srikanth has hit out at such sensational gossip items on YouTube that some portals put out. "I am in Bengaluru shooting for a movie. For the past one day, I am getting calls from different people enquiring about my health status. They have read that I met with an accident. My family members too are receiving calls. Some of my fans are also anxious. It's wrong to make false videos for clicks and likes. Legal action will be initiated against such sites. Some site stars a gossip and others soon pick it up. MAA is very serious about the issue," Srikanth says.
He has complained to Cyber Crime regarding the same.
