'Acharya', starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, is duly awaited. The mega film will likely hit the screens in August this year.

Since Ram Charan is playing a key role in it, speculations have been rife about his entry. The buzz is that the 'Rangasthalam' actor will make a dashing debut in the story at the interval point. As Siddha, Cherry's character will have a lion's share in the story in the second half.

Last year, when Charan's enlisting was confirmed by Koratala Siva, it was thought that the Mega Power Star's role would merely be a guest appearance in a 30-minute flashback. But the 'Sye Raa' actor said in an interview that Cherry's is a full-fledged powerful role.

Produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood. Music and cinematography are by Mani Sharma and S Tirru, respectively.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is also gearing up for the release of 'RRR' on October 13 unless postponed. Starring Jr NTR as the other hero, the film is helmed by SS Rajamouli. Produced by DVV Entertainments, it recently clinched an expensive OTT deal.
