Doctors use SPB’s own songs as therapy for him – Awesome details

Celebrated singer S.P. Balasubrahmaniam is currently on ventilator support and is in the intensive care unit of the MGM hospital in Chennai. The 74 year old thespian was hospitalized after testing positive for COVID 19 and had only mild symptoms for ten days but on August 14th his condition suddenly deteriorated with his severe lung damage.   His son SPB Charan updated last evening that his father is now conscious and is able to respond to doctors and he is slowing progressive signs of improvement.

Meanwhile, the hospital sources have informed us that for COVID 19 patients they have used music as therapy to bring down stress and depression.  Similarly in the ward where SPB is lodged the management is playing a mix of love duet, philosophy and religious songs that the legend has sung which are used as therapy for himself as well as others.

SPB ever since he made his debut as playback singer in the late sixties has sung over 40000 songs in various Indian languages and has become a part of every household as his voice never ceases to be heard through all medium.
