Court orders three-year jail sentence for a sheep – Bizarre case

We have seen in almost every film that the court scene will have dialogue saying, “The Court has faced many bizarre cases but not witnessed a case like this.” A South African court has encountered such a strange case that is going viral on the internet. 

A case has been registered against a sheep in South Africa and it has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. In Rumbak, South Africa, a 45-year-old woman named Adhieu Chaping was attacked by the sheep. The Ram continuously hit her when she collapsed. The woman died on the spot after suffering severe rib injuries. 

After a complaint was lodged with the police, the cops caught and tied up the sheep at the police station. The case has been going on for several months. The people witnessed the woman being beaten to death by the ram during the trial. The court ordered a 3-year prison sentence for the sheep. 

The sheep will now spend the next three years in a military camp in Aduel County headquarters in Sudan’s Lakes State. The owner of the ram, Duony Manyang Dhal, has to give five cows to the victim’s family as compensation, the local court ruled. When the sheep is freed after its sentence, it will also be given to the victim’s family.
