Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas: Divorce Drama Escalates as Custody Dispute Takes Center Stage

Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in September 2023 after being in a marital relationship with him for four years. TMZ has recently reported that Sophie is considering reopening her divorce case with the singer due to their inability to reach a mutual agreement. Neither Sophie nor Joe have publicly opened up about this matter.

Actress Sophie Turner reportedly brought a request to the divorce proceedings with Joe Jonas, which they had paused while the two made a futile attempt to go through with mediation—they could not agree on splitting property and the custody of children. With negotiations stuck in place, etiquette experts and marriage therapists in town say the “Game of Thrones” favorite reported that she is finally certain to resort to court assistance in the finalization of the divorce and the custody arrangements for their daughters—with court supervision.

Willa and Delphine’s custody battle last year once again captured the headlines. Well, they actually had a prenuptial for property but not for custody. The then-temporary custodial agreement of the past just had this entry, but his and her sensitive issues make permanent resolution hard.

As if on cue, the divorce filings are about to go public in detail about every single thing they couldn’t agree upon. According to TMZ, though they have a way of keeping things private by doing everything through mediation, the statements are about to go public.

Then it was added that it has been reported that Joe and Sophie have moved into separate pathways, with Joe with Stormi Bree and Sophie reuniting with beau Perry Pearson. He filed for divorce from Sophie in Miami, citing the irrevocable breakdown of the marriage. The couple has two daughters together, Willa, born in 2020, and Delphine, born in 2022.
