Soori’s third film clinches international recognition after ‘Viduthalai’ and ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’!

Soori, who started his career as a comedian, is conquering bigger heights today. He debuted as a lead actor in Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai Part 1’. He is also playing the lead in directors Ram’s ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’, PS Vinothraj’s ‘Kottukaali’ and Durai Senthikumar’s ‘Garudan’.

The hot news is that his films are earning international recognition one after the other. Earlier this month, ‘Viduthalai’ and ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’ were screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2024. Soori flew to Rotterdam along with the team of the movies and attended the premiere screenings there. It went viral on the internet.

‘Kottukaali’ is the latest addition to this list as producer Sivakarthikeyan announced that this film is an official selection at the International Film Festival Berlin 2024. The movie’s world premiere is scheduled on 16th February. ‘Kottukaali’ is about two to-be wedded individuals played by Soori and acclaimed actress Anna Ben.

This is the second feature film from director PS Vinothraja, whose debut film ‘Pebbles’ won acclaim at numerous international film festivals. The technical team comprises B Sakthivel as the cinematographer and Ganesh Siva as the editor. This is a joint production of Sivakarthikeyan Productions and The Litte Wave Productions.
