Soori thanks Goundamani and releases a milestone video

Soori started his film career as a set assistant and later acted as an extra in many films before he got the big break in ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ and came to be known as Parotta Soori after that hilarious scene in the movie.  Today he is one of the most sought after comedians of Kollywood and is also acting as a hero soon in a movie directed by none other than Vettrimaaran.

Soori has released a video clip of the first movie in which he spoke one single dialogue and shared screen space with the legendary comedian Gaundamani.  He has written ” 20 years back I spoke my first dialogue on screen.  Thank you Gaundamani Sir and Thank you Sundar C brother” and has revealed that the movie’s title is ‘Kannan Varuvaan’.

Soori’s next release on September 27th is ‘Namma Veettu Pillai’ starring Sivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya Rajesh.  After a few weeks, he will be seen sharing the screen with his long-time friend Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Sanga Thamizhan’.
