Actor Suriya's next release Soorarai Pottru has been making the right noises with the recent release of the Veyyon Silli single from the movie on Spicejet Boeing 737 flight, with 100 first time flyers making it to the event. Now the team has struck another important deal.

It has been made official that the satellite rights of Soorarai Pottru has been bagged by Sun TV. Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of former army captain and low cost airline Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and has Suriya playing a character named Nedumaran Rajangam.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru has 8 thottakkal and Sarvam Thaala Mayam heroine Aparna Balamurali as the female lead and also stars Paresh Rawal, Mohan Babu, Karunaas, Kaali Venkat and has music by GV Prakash. It has been speculated that the movie will be released on April 14.
