Sonu Sood continues to be the hero he has been since last year. Recently, the humanitarian actor’s team became saviours of about 30 Covid-19 patients at a hospital in Bengaluru.
Going into detais, Sonu Sood’s NGO and local cops rose to the occasion after an incident of oxygen leak at Shreyas Hospital in Bengaluru. It’s learned that the team supplied adequate number of oxygen cylinders at an hour’s notice.
It was Dr. Samit Havinal who contacted a member of Sonu Sood Foundation and got it done.

Recounting the incident, a source said that Megha Chowdhury from the team used a police helpline to avert a crisis. “Sonu Sood’s team was already at work in the hospital when the cops had arrived and the latter did their bit to arrange oxygen cylinders by contacting other hospitals and oxygen plants in the nearby area Peenya,” the source adds.
After the saviour act, Assistant Commissioner of Police Reema Suvarna as well as the hospital management praised the selfless service by Sonu Sood’s team.
