Ram Gopal Varma visualizes the song from the point of view of Nagarjuna’s lonely daughter in the movie. She pines for some time with her ever-so-busy but light-hearted (with his daughter) cop-father.
Sira Sri gets to pen a few lines as RGV looks the other way. Otherwise, RGV-style gunshots and fights dot the song more than the lyrics. Ramya Behara’s tender voice is apt for this number, which is sung by a pre-teen girl in the movie. Music Director Ravi Shankar keeps it simple and even induces a sense of deja vu. The short song is hardly distinct.
‘Officer’, starring Nagarjuna, Myra Sareen and Anwar Khan in key roles, will hit the screens on June 1.
