Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at the actress’ Mumbai residence. The first glimpses of the newlywed couple emerged on social media, showcasing their joyous union amidst close friends and family.

A video shared by actor Aayush Sharma captured the heartwarming moment as Zaheer, after completing the civil marriage formalities, whispered something in Sonakshi’s ear, prompting her to erupt into laughter. The video was accompanied by a heartfelt message from Aayush, wishing the couple “all the best for the new chapter of their life.”

Another video showcased a traditional touch, with Zaheer seeking blessings from Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, after the wedding ceremony.  Shatrughan Sinha who was earlier unhappy finally relented and blessed the newly wed.The couple opted for understated elegance in their wedding attire. Sonakshi looked radiant in an ivory saree, while Zaheer complemented her in an all-white ensemble.

Earlier, Sonakshi and Zaheer took to social media to announce their union, sharing a heartfelt message: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it.
