SJ Suryah Joins Raghava Lawrence’s “Maatram” Movement, Donates Tractor to Farmer

Actor SJ Suryah, known for his powerful performances, has joined forces with actor-director Raghava Lawrence in his philanthropic initiative, “Maatram.”  On Tuesday, Suryah made a generous donation of a tractor worth Rs. 10 lakh to a farmer from Thenambakkam village near Kanchipuram. This act of kindness follows their collaboration in director Karthik Subburaj’s “Jigarthanda Double X.”

Suryah and Lawrence personally presented the tractor to Munusamy, a farmer from the village, amidst a warm welcome from the local community.  They urged Munusamy to use the tractor to assist other struggling farmers, emphasizing the importance of shared prosperity.

Lawrence, known for his compassionate nature, had previously launched the “Maatram” foundation, a social organization dedicated to uplifting the less fortunate.  The foundation aims to bring together celebrities and social activists to work towards positive change.

Sharing his gratitude on social media, Lawrence expressed his appreciation for Suryah’s support. He wrote, “Hi Friends and fans, You are all aware that I handed over 10 Tractors to Farmers through the Maatram Foundation with my own money. Today @iam_SJSuryah Brother gave me a pleasant surprise by adding another Tractor with his own money. Together, We handed over the 11th Tractor to Badri from Kanchipuram district.
