Meera Chopra is a distant relative of actress Priyanka Chopra and she has also acted in several Telugu and Hindi movies. Recently, Meera Chopra had been to the Double Tree Hilton five star hotel located in Ahmedabad and had ordered food and to her shock, she found maggots alive in the food served.
Meera Chopra immediately took a video of the worm infested food, and shared it on her Instagram account and also tagged FSSAI to look into the food safety and inspect the hotel quality. She captioned the video “Staying in @doubletree in ahembdabad. @doubletreeahmedabad And got maggots in my food. U pay bomb fr these hotels nd they feed u maggots. Its so shocking @fssai_safefood plz take some immediate action. Where are the health safety regulations now!! #maggots #doubletreebyhilton”.
