Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘SK23’ faces trouble after one day of shooting? – Outdoor unit raises complaint

With an auspicious pooja, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘SK23’, directed by AR Murugadoss, started rolling on Wednesday. The film is said to be a big-budget action entertainer with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and Anirudh as the music composer. Within a day of filming, this project has courted a controversy.

An accusation rose against ‘SK23’, produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, for using an outdoor unit from out of the state, which violates the negotiation terms that the local outdoor unit association had with the filmmakers. In a letter to the Producers Association, the South Indian Outdoor Unit Association stated that the local outdoor unit owners suffered mental and economic damage due to this.

They further said that from today (16.02.2024) onwards, the local outdoor unit won’t be working for any film or serial shooting until the producers association finds a permanent solution for this problem. This has caused a stir in the film industry. This is going viral now. We have to wait for the ‘SK23’ to react to this issue.
