The promotional campaign for Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘SK20’ kickstarts tomorrow! – First look release date

After Sivakarthikeyan’s last two films obtained all-time blockbuster status, the emerging star is now gearing up for his next release ‘SK20’ scheduled to hit the silver screens on August 31. The bilingual film’s shooting is almost over and the promotional campaign will kickstart this month. 

Directed by ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame Anudeep, Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka is headlining the female lead role. Now, it has been announced that the title and first look poster of ‘SK20’ will be released tomorrow. The production house took to their social media handles to announce that the promotions kickstart with the poster. 

Sharing a new poster, the makers captioned, “An Amusing First look for an entertaining tale. #SK20 FirstLook to be out tomorrow!” (sic). The story is based on the love story between an Indian youngster and a British woman. With music by Thaman S, Sathyaraj, Naveen Polishetty and Premgi Amaren play pivotal roles in the movie. 

The album has a total of five songs. Interestingly, Sivakarthiekyan has penned the lyrics of one song and the other songs are reportedly penned by Arivu, Vignesh Shivan and Rokesh. The film is shot in posh locales of Pondicherry, Karaikal and other places. ‘SK20’ is jointly produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Cinemas and Shanthi Talkies.
