‘SK20’ heroine says that she misses her country endlessly – Emotional post viral

It is well-known fact that Sivakarthikeyan is romancing a Ukrainian beauty in his upcoming movie ‘SK20’. We already updated you that actress Maria Riaboshapka is playing the female lead in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, directed by ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame Anudeep. 

A few days ago, the actress took to her Instagram page to pen an emotional note about being part of a south Indian film while her country is in great sorrow. We all know that Russia invaded Ukraine and the countries have been at war ever since. Many people lost their lives in the war-stricken nation. 

Maria posted, “I want to share some good news, against the background of terrible events in Ukraine. ??Newly announced my participation in the #SK20 project with @kv.anudeep and @sivakarthikeyan. I’m happy that I met such bright and interesting people. Thanks to the team for care and support – you are the best! I miss my country endlessly, and I’m happy to have the opportunity to work and be useful” (sic). 

‘SK20’ shooting is happening at Karaikal and Pondicherry. The film is based on a romance between a Pondy tourist guide and a foreign girl. The ensemble cast also includes Sathyaraj and Premgi Amaren. Thaman is scoring music. Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies, the team is planning to wrap up shooting by this month.
