Sivakarthikeyan-Venkat Prabhu combo confirmed? – Check the surprising details

Venkat Prabhu after a long wait has finally delivered the massive blockbuster hit ‘Maanaadu’ starring Simbu and S.J. Suryah.  The maverick filmmaker has completed a quickie starring Ashok Selvan after that and is gearing up for a pan Indian multistarrer with Sudeep, Arvind Swamy, Prabhu Deva and other stars from the Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi industries.

Meanwhile the unexpected news has arrived that Venkat Prabhu has teamed up with Sivakarthikeyan in his very next movie ‘SK20’ (SK1 in Telugu) directed by Anudeep and produced  by Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP.  The film marks the Telugu debut of Siva and is said to have an English actress as the heroine.

According to our sources Venkat Prabhu has agreed to work on the screenplay and dialogues of ‘SK20’ for the Tamil version.  The story is said to involve the love story between a tourist from London and her local guide played by Sivakarthikeyan.  The film will be shot in Pondicherry, Hyderabad and London and VP’s involvement is sure to add that much more humour into the proceedings.   The official announcement on this one is expected this month itself before the shoot begins.
